Brendan T. Lund, Director
Mr. Lund brings extensive experience and close personal attention to the representation of businesses, individuals and families in income and property tax matters both as a trusted advisor and as an advocate.
Mr. Lund advises clients on the federal, state and international tax implications associated with businesses organized as partnerships and limited liability companies, as well as corporations organized under Subchapters C and S. He works with individuals and companies on day-to-day tax matters and advises businesses on mergers, acquisitions or other types of business transactions.
Mr. Lund also actively represents his clients in IRS audits, California FTB and SBE audits, and disputes before the United States Tax Court. He has developed a special international expertise representing individuals with offshore bank accounts and financial assets become compliant for federal and state purposes.
As a third-generation Bay Area resident, Mr. Lund has established strong ties with the region’s business and community leaders. His familiarity with San Mateo, San Francisco and the surrounding counties enables him to expand the scope of his tax advice to include practical business considerations, which provides an added value to his clients.
