Intellectual property clearance, registration and protection strategies Mr. Parker's practice involves the protection and enforcement of exclusive rights pertaining to trademarks, business names, domain names, copyrights, inventions (whether patentable or not), trade secrets, rights of publicity and employer/employee proprietary rights. He is an expert in the screening and selection of trademarks and the development of cost effective trademark protection strategies, including domestic and foreign registration of marks.

Intellectual property license and transfer agreements
Mr. Parker assists clients in the negotiation and preparation of a wide variety of intellectual property related business agreements, including but not limited to: licenses, assignments, security agreements, development agreements, consulting services agreements, sales, distribution and supply agreements, reseller agreements, software and multimedia licenses, confidentiality agreements, inventor's rights agreements, and online application and database service provider agreements.

Intellectual property enforcement and defense
Mr. Parker further assists clients in the prosecution and defense of intellectual property infringement matters. Clients appreciate his pragmatic advice and counsel on pre-litigation dispute resolution strategies as well as obtaining the courts assistance in resolving intellectual property infringement issues. Mr. Parker is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of California and for federal litigation matters, the Northern, Central and Eastern U.S. District Courts of the State of California, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Parker also has considerable experience in advertising and promotions law issues such as the proper use of names and marks in advertising, fair use of names and content in advertising, comparative advertising, and sweepstakes and contest rules and registration.
